A perfect location for a gallery
Up Gallery was located in Sassafras village in the Dandenong Ranges. Several artists micro galleries also operate on the site in pod stylecontainers.
In the first weeks of May 2023, after a busy open studios weekend, 30+ artists quietly filled the walls with art, heart and a bit of bravado.
A dream soon became a reality as we all had a place to exhibit our art and this become a hub for many artists living on the mountain to collaborate and showcase their work.
Up Artisans Inc. has over 20 artist members based in the Dandenong Ranges and a committee who operate our association.
We will continue to showcase our works in bi-annual activations since our Sassafras gallery closed in February 2025.
