This group exhibition curated by Jude Craig.
Four local textile artists combine forces to unveil a wonderment of textures, tones and techniques. A bowerbird wight, a technologist, a visionary survivalist and an alchemist showcase work from their years of devotion to a craft.
‘The Orb’ is a collaborative piece which has challenged the artists to respond to each other’s aesthetic and celebrate the diversion of stitching textiles to a yoga ball.

Joy draws, stitches, burns and rusts paper and fabric she finds to create collage, paintings, artists books and installations.
Through her artworks, she is trying to illustrate her bewilderment at the growing signs of the approaching apocalypse.

John Duke artwork is very colourful, textured with use of layer upon layer painting, masking taping and using silk velvet in his wearable art. His favourite part of being a human is making a shy person smile.
